Bubbly Begins At Home

For the champagne purist, anything other than the finest Taittinger or Krug – or other reputable champagne brand – is not real champagne. Equally, if a bottle comes from anywhere but the Champagne region of France, then they’ll consider that something to stay well clear of at all times.

But in the Summer, when the weather is fantastic and the urge to have a drink is overpowering, making your own champagne can be a viable and fascinating option which is surprisingly easy to do. You’ll never win any prizes for it at a champagne convention, but making champagne in your home is about more than just the end product. It’s also about the process and what happens along the way.

Over at the bliss blog there’s a comprehensive article on this which is suitable for anyone with a passion for bubbly.

So why not have a look, have a go and let us know how you got on?
