The Coup de Couer Guide Hachette 2008 were very taken with the Cuvee Louis XV 1996, and it's easy to see why this attraction was so immediate: firstly this wine is only produced during years that excel, and secondly it is the Prestige Cuvee of the House – a Champagne that has been masterfully aged for 10 years in the cellars, allowing qualities to show themselves which have to be tasted to be believed.
