To really get to the heart of why champagne Armand de Brignac is thought to be so prestigious, though, you need to go back to the roots of the Cattier House. 1763 was the year which saw the House begin its journey – with Champagne legend Jean-Jacques deciding the direction of the brand – one which would ultimately blossom into a reputation far greater than any of the eight original staff could have ever envisaged.
In terms of its assembly, Armand de Brignac is comprised of only the fines Premier and Grand Cru grapes. Sourced from the best villages the Champagne Region has to offer – among them Montagne de Reims and the Vallee de la Marne – this uniquely treated bubbly also benefits from being aged in some of the deepest cellars on the planet; an area some 30 metres under the vineyards which is home to only the most exquisite combination of flavours imaginable.
